LeBonCoin has run a marketing campaign, waving fees for French hoteliers to aid in continuing business amidst the market unrest. Continuing in that news, the Adevinta-owned French company has announced a distribution partnership with French hotel company, Accor Group.

Accor Group owns a number of popular hotel chains, including F1, Ibis, Mercure, Novotel, Tribe, Greet, and Mama Shelter

With this partnership, Accor’s 1,500 listings will join LeBonCoin’s hotel inventory of 4,500 available for booking

On the partnership, Antoine Jouteau, LeBonCoin’s CEO, said:

“Thanks to this partnership, all of the Accor Group hotels will benefit from our massive and exclusively French audience, which will in turn be able to access its vast portfolio of brands.”

The agreement will give Accor Group a larger French audience that will help with growth and LeBonCoin will be one step closer to competing with industry giants like Expedia and Booking.com.

Accor Group will not have to pay commission on reservations made through LeBonCoin until the end of the year with this partnership. This is congruent with the offer LeBonCoin made with French hoteliers earlier this year. In 2021, the partners will be made an offer of a 10% commission, moving forward.

Other specifics include, according to Jouteau, Accor keeping their own user data, as LeBonCoin takes the role of an intermediary between customer and hotel which does not need user data.
