Zoopla Launches New Products to Deliver Leads Straight to Agents' Platforms

British real estate portal company Zoopla has announced the launch of a new system of lead delivery for its agent customers. The service consists of two different functionalities - a Push Delivery Service and a Leads API and provides a range of benefits for agents including lead delivery in just seconds.

Previously, agents had to log into a special area within the Zoopla ecosystem to access leads or set up a file transfer protocol. Under the new system, leads will be converted into a standardised format and automatically be delivered into an agent's existing system using the Leads API.

The speed of this new system is important in that it allows agents to contact a potential vendor lead straight away, a key factor in gaining instructions. Both the Leads API and its sister product, the Push Delivery Service, will be made available for free to Zoopla customers but will not be an automatic upgrade with agents encouraged to reach out to their Zoopla rep for an upgrade.

Andy Marshall, Zoopla’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: "We're constantly striving to improve the service we offer to our customers, and our new Push Delivery Service and Lead API enables our partners to receive leads in the fastest possible time, removing the need for manual data entry. This unlocks a range of opportunities for our customers, including the ability to immediately act on those all important vendor and applicant leads.”

The move by Zoopla to build a product that delivers leads straight to an agent's third-party management system represents something of a break from the norm for British portals who have traditionally kept lead data on their own platforms and encouraged agents to log in and engage with their software.
