SEO Specialist Portal Ventures Hires Industry Figure Javier Ortiz to Lead Business Development

Marketplace SEO agency Portal Ventures has announced the appointment of well-known industry figure Javier Ortiz to the newly created position of Head of Business Development.

In his new role Javier will be responsible for communicating the benefits of working with a specialist SEO agency to his many contacts in the world of online marketplaces; a task which according to Portal ventures CEO Mike van der Heijden, he is ideally suited to:

Having been Commercial Director and one of the first employees at international online classifieds aggregator Mitula Group, Javier learned first-hand how SEO can make a true category leader in his 9 years at the company.

The Madrid native has since served as Chief Revenue Officer for Central American classifieds leader Encuentra24 and he serves as part-time advisor Business Director for AI retargeting specialist Signifi Media. Javier is also consulting on a freelance basis for online classifieds businesses around the world.

Speaking about his new role at Portal ventures and the importance of good SEO for marketplace businesses, Ortiz said:
